Our Story
I used to think that financial literacy was not important until I was tricked by someone who was supposed to have my best financial interest at heart. After the loss, I embarked on a financial journey that required years of hard work and dedication towards rebuilding my financial foundation.
After graduating from York University, I got busy building my career and starting a family. I managed projects for companies like P&G and Starbucks, then went on to work with Ford Credit managing high end commercial lines of credit. This role was helpful in understanding how to take risks without putting my client’s financial well-being on the line. Creating a positive social impact was a key value in my personal life. Now that I had the business experience and life experience, I was ready to do it professionally.
Today, I use the full range of my experience, talents, resourcefulness and passion to refine a process that puts all the pieces of the financial puzzle together for my clients so they can have a complete picture of their financial picture and be able to define and live their life on their own terms.
Positive Social Impact guides what I do. When I’m not advising clients and spending time with my family, I’m an active member of Business Professional Women (BPW), an advocacy organization that works to bring awareness of issues that directly affect women and families – like human trafficking (Project ONRoute through Farm-town Canada), raising funds for women shelters (Hope 24/7), bringing resolutions at the federal level to help craft platforms that can help alleviate the issues affecting Canadian women.

The Financial Planning Standards Council’s Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) certification is the industry gold standard in financial planning. CFP professionals are the largest identifiable body of licensed financial planners in Canada. In life, it’s important to find a financial planner you trust to provide sound, unbiased advice and professional services. Being CFP® certified means someone has voluntarily taken the extra steps needed to provide the highest possible standard of financial planning to those they serve. To become a Certified Financial Planner™ one must pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Exam, have a minimum of three years’ professional experience in financial planning process and must be approved by the CFP Board, which involves an extensive background check – including an ethics, character and criminal check. To maintain certification, CFP® license holders must complete 25 hours of continuing education accepted by the CFP Board every year.
The most widely recognized financial planning designation in Canada and worldwide, the Certified Financial Planner® designation provides assurance to Canadians that the design of their financial future rests with a professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own.
